Sylvie Sicamois Stratford is the heart of this endeavor. Daughter of a musician she bathes in jazz and Tzigane music from her earliest age. Her voice has been shaped through varying and multiple musical experiences such as musical comedies, the ageless charm of songs from the turn of the 20th century, Gospel tours, cabaret, and of course jazz and tzigane ballads. She has created 3 groups : Gospellement Swing ; Voices ; and finally Jazz in the Mood. |
Bertrand Villeneuve, trained in classical and jazz music, is a broad-minded pianist, passionate about jazz, but also pulled towards classical, Latin jazz, Argentinean tangos and jazz pop rock. Accompanying artists such as education in Antoine Garrido, Claudine César, Yvette Yché and Daniel Guichard, his sensitivity and his talent have made him a pianist of choice. |

Jean Michel Pelegrin received his Masters degree in Jazz from the Conservatory at Toulouse and has been professor of music at the Narbonne Musical Academy for a number of years. Composer and arranger , he writes music for chamber orchestras, major jazz bands, and philharmonic orchestras. He plays in "Big Band 31" with jazzmen such as Griffin, Glenn Ferris, Maxime Sauris, Jean-Lou Longnon, Christian Escoudé ... His masters the saxophone, clarinet, flute and accordion with brio and innovation. |
Jacques Buerra is a pure product of the Toulouse jazz scene and was trained at the jazz schools of Dante Agostini and Tonton Salut. He also teaches percussion and plays in all of Toulouse’s jazz clubs. His swing and sensitivity has brought him to play among the many jazz and Latin jazz groups in the region such as : Opus Swing, Jazz à Cat, les Toubibs (...) and finally for Jazz in the Mood. |

Dominique Rousseau graduated from the Musical Academy of Montauban. She accompanies the singer, Collette Magny, the manouche guitarist Challain Ferre, and participate in numerous jazz groups such as Gadji, Roger Bié Trio, G and M’s Trio, Wojszczyk quartet…and Latin’s : Quarteto Camara. Dominique is also a professional story teller and composes and plays in her own shows for bass and voice. |
